Ulefone Armor X13 launches as new affordable rugged smartphone with 50 MP primary and 24 MP night vision cameras
Ulefone has introduced the Armor X13, a new budget smartphone powered by the same MediaTek Helio G36 chipset as the Honor X5 Plus. Ulefone has also designed the Armor X13 to withstand more environmental stresses than a regular smartphone. Accordingly, the device is IP69K certified, which ensures superior water resistance than most other smartphones.
Ulefone complements the Helio G36 with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, the latter of which can be expanded using a MicroSD card. Additionally, the Armor X13 possesses a 6.52-inch display that outputs at 1,600 x 720 pixels with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, a 6,320 mAh battery underpins the device, which supports 10 W charging via USB Type-C. Moreover, the Armor X13 features the Samsung S5KJN1 as its primary camera, a 50 MP sensor that works with a 24 MP Omvision OV24A1B infrared/night vision camera.
For reference, all these components fit within a 173 x 83 x 13.5 mm and 300 g footprint. Currently, Ulefone sells the Armor X13 for US$169.99 with Android 13 pre-loaded in All Black and Some Orange colourways. However, only in a sole 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage configuration exists at the time of writing. Please see Ulefone's website for more details.
