IFA 2023 | Ulefone teases Armor 23 Ultra as flagship satellite smartphone ^↺

Most IFA 2023 exhibitors might be more than a little annoyed if you happened to step on one of its demo units. Ulefone, on the other hand, actively encourages it at its Hall 6.2 booth (A202). Attendees can also witness devices such as the Armor 21 and mid-range X13 surviving in tanks of sand and ice thanks to their high IP- and MIL-STD- ratings during the early September event.

Ulefone has also come to announce that the Armor Pad - a ~US$200 IP69K-rated Android 12 tablet with a 7,650mAh battery and a MediaTek Helio G25 SoC to drive its 8-inch display - will get a second generation soon. Meanwhile, Armor-series smartphones are also now due a new flagship.

The 23 Ultra is set to boast two-way satellite messaging on its upcoming launch. Ulefone has also showcased its "ecosystem" of accessories, which include a microscope and an endoscope that work with the proprietary uSmart connector found on devices such as the Power Armor 16 Pro as well as first-party cases and mounts like most OEMs.
