Samsung has announced a release schedule for One UI 5.1.1, its interim update between the One UI 5 and One UI 6. According to the company, One UI 5.1.1 makes various multi-tasking changes, including an overhauled Flex Mode. In a press release, Samsung explains that you can now rearrange Flex Mode Panel icons, which contains shortcuts for features like activating Multi Window or hiding the panel completely.
Additionally, One UI 5.1.1 improves Multi Window by allowing two apps to run simultaneously with Flex Mode enabled. Moreover, the update introduces a pop-up option for the Samsung Browser, which can be triggered without moving away from a current foreground and full-screen app. Samsung adds this pop-up can also be positioned freely and transitioned into a new Multi Window panel.
