Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra rumoured to feature a 50 MP telephoto lens
More information about Samsung's upcoming high-end smartphone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, is beginning to show up online. It was revealed earlier that it would come with a Titanium frame and "EV-style" battery while recycling its predecessor's design. Ice Universe has now shed some light on one of its camera components. The prolific leaker says the Galaxy S24 Ultra will include a 50 MP 3x telephoto lens.
While the exact sensor isn't specified, it should be a newer version of the 10 MP module found on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. That said, the new information goes against the leaker's earlier assertion that it would use a 12 MP sensor for the 3x telephoto sensor (IMX 754).
It also stated the primary 200 MP camera sensor (ISOCELL HP2) was here to stay, along with the 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 12 MP 10x periscope lens (IMX 754+). Additionally, Ice Universe's latest statement also goes against another report that said the Galaxy S24 Ultra's telephoto lens would offer 5x optical zoom.
Then again, leaks aren't always accurate, and there will certainly be misinformation surrounding one of Samsung's most hotly anticipated devices, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Ice Universe, for the most part, has been reasonably accurate, but it is best to wait until other leakers chime in.
