Rumor | OPPO Find N3 Flip shows up on Geekbench with MediaTek silicon
The OPPO Find N3 Flip is rumored to outshine the Galaxy Z Flip5 in terms of charging speeds and camera performance from its late 2023 launch. However, those possible advantages over its potential Samsung rival may only mean so much, apparently pulling ahead and then falling behind as a flagship-level clamshell foldable smartphone in the same new leak.
A device with the N3 Flip's alleged model number has been spotted on Geekbench, in a new listing that might shed more light on the device's internal specs for the first time. According to this new leak, the "OPPO PHT110" runs on the Dimensity 9200 processor.
That would be the up-to-3.05GHz early-year 2023 flagship from MediaTek, and not the mid-year 3.35GHz 9200+ refresh, even though the N2 Flip has the corresponding 9000+. Then again, its alleged succesor seems to have 12GB of RAM, an edge it would have on a Z Flip5 still restricted to 8GB.
Nevertheless, a Dimensity 9200-powered Find N3 Flip could be considered to be half a generation behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy-equipped Flip5, regardless of eventual in-testing or real-world differences. Then again, the N3 Flip could still keep up with ColorOS 13 out of the box in late August 2023.
