OPPO Find N3 Flip: Indian launch date set for 2023 clamshell foldable smartphone
OPPO India has now followed up on its Find N3 Flip launch hype with a date for this event, thereby confirming that the new clamshell foldable smartphone will be introduced to a new market within a week. The device is already confirmed to bring its "Industry-First Triple Camera in a Flip" and 44W SuperVOOC charging with it on this date.
The OEM claims that the latter represents the "fastest charging in a flip", although its Phantom V counterpart technically has it beaten at 45W for a smaller 4,000mAh battery. The N3 Flip can still best its new Tecno rival in terms of MediaTek processors: it will have a top-end Dimensity 9200 rather than the 8050 of the new 'cost-effective' alternative.
On that note, OPPO India is keeping the N3 Flip's price in reserve for its October 12, 2023 reveal; therefore, whether it can beat the Galaxy Z Flip5 or Razr 40 Ultra (if not the Razr 40) in these terms remain to be seen.
For context, they are currently listed at INR 99,999 and 79,999 respectively on Amazon.in - then again, their impending OPPO competition might be able to deliver 12GB of RAM rather than 8 for its price, which can't be said for its Samsung or Motorola rivals.
