Honor Magic Vs2: Leaked benchmark listing reveals key specifications before October 12 launch
Honor has now confirmed the existence of the Magic Vs2, a foldable smartphone that it intends to release later this week alongside the Watch 4 Pro. While the company has kept many elements of the Magic Vs2 under wraps, the device appears to have already turned up on Geekbench. As usual, the benchmarking database outlines various device specifications without referring to the name Magic Vs2.
Instead, Geekbench lists the device as 'VER-AN000', the presumed model number of the Magic Vs2. Surprisingly, Honor has equipped its next foldable with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, identifiable by its CPU core configuration and part number ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 2 part 3400 revision 0. Thus, the Magic Vs2 will only match the Magic Vs in this regard and will rely upon an older chipset than the Magic V2.
Geekbench confirms that the Magic Vs2 will be available with 16 GB of RAM though, an upgrade over the 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM options in which the Magic Vs is available. The listing also reveals that the Magic Vs2 will ship with Android 13, despite Google having now finalised Android 14. The Magic Vs2 will debut on October 12 in China; details on a global release remain unknown for now.
