OPPO Find N3 Flip launch date and final design allegedly revealed in new leak
OPPO has now been beaten by both Xiaomi and Samsung to the launch of a top-end foldable smartphone for 2023. However, the OEM is still projected to hit back with a Find N3 (and/or OnePlus Open) later this year. However, it now seems that its clamshell sibling, the N3 Flip, might be introduced beforehand.
That device is expected to have many of the same internals as the 'main' N3, albeit in an even more compact form-factor and with a milder charging upgrade. It is also thought to at least keep up with its N2 Flip predecessor in terms of main display and camera specs, adding a 32MP telephoto lens and 2x portrait zoom to its series' rear camera array for the first time in 2023.
On that note, the story of what the N3 Flip is supposed to look like has just produced another twist. An initial render hinting at a recycled N2 Flip rear panel with an extra camera ring had reportedly been debunked by subsequent renders attributed to Digital Chat Station and Yogesh Brar via PriceBaba - however, both had been rescinded shortly after publication.
Nevertheless, they are all but identical to a new image in which Bald Panda appears to retain full faith at the time of writing. It reinforces the idea that the N3 Flip will upgrade to a new, Hasselblad-branded circular camera hump designed as a take on the larger module seen in the latest OnePlus Open renders, next to a portrait-oriented cover display that seems similar in size to that of the N2 Flip.
Bald Panda also now asserts that the OPPO Find N3 Flip will debut in this form on August 29, 2023.
