OPPO Find N3 backed to launch as best periscope zoom lens-enabled foldable smartphone of 2023
OnePlus has resolved to become much more "Open" with its ambitions to become a foldable smartphone OEM in 2023. Moreover, it is possible that a preview of its first-gen, internationally-available flagship is on the way in the form of its Chinese-market counterpart, the Find N3.
Accordingly, the 'Open' could be in line for a potentially Galaxy Z Fold5-beating arsenal of premium foldable specs, the best periscope zoom lens of its category for this year included. The upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is also now officially backed to vie for this crown - however, according to the eminent leaker Digital Chat Station, the Find N3 has bested it already, despite the fact neither device has launched yet.
Therefore, the OPPO foldable's camera hump is tipped to outdo that of its Xiaomi rival, possibly thanks in part to its Hasselblad tuning, which could be set against the Leica branding of the Mix Fold 3 soon. The Find N3 is also now said to reprise the top-end 16GB RAM SKU of its predecessor - albeit with internal storage beefed up to 1TB this time.
As the up-to-12GB/1TB specs of the Z Fold5 are now set in stone, it may have lost to the Find N3 in this way already - then again, the Samsung W24 might be able to hit back in that regard.
