OPPO's Find N3 is now said to have taken an important step on its path to challenge its Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 rival in 2023. The foldable flagship Android smartphone has popped up by name on a Thai telecomms regulator's website, thereby possibly hinting at an imminent launch in Asia. The same device is also expected to hit other markets, albeit with a different moniker.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 has officially beaten its OPPO Find N-series counterpart to launch today (July 26, 2023); however, it seems the alleged 2023 foldable smartphone championship contender will not be all that far behind after all.

The Find N3 name has popped up in a new certification courtesy of Thailand's NBTC, thereby potentially proving that it does indeed exist, at least. The leak may confirm its model number (OPPO CPH2499), yet cannot corroborate any more details, besides the fact that it is a 5G-capable mobile device.

Nevertheless, the smartphone is currently thought of as a slimmer, lighter and potentially more powerful version of the Find N2, albeit with a drastically different, yet still Hasselblad-branded, camera hump. It may thus hit the Chinese market soon with these features, although it is also said to make it to a global launch this time, disguised as the first-gen OnePlus Open.
