OPPO Find N3 backed for upgrade to 100W charging and new dual-port power brick
The Find N3 has yet to launch, yet is already backed to blow its potential Galaxy Z Fold5 rival away with superior camera specs and performance. Now, it seems the OPPO foldable smartphone will also be able to charge faster than its Samsung counterpart.
The N3 (or "OPPO PHN110") has reportedly been spotted on the 3C database with approval to use SuperVOOC 100W charging, a substantial upgrade on even the 67W technology of its predecessor. It is also said to launch with the larger battery of the 2, at 4,805mAh compared to 4,520mAh in the previous generation.
Meanwhile, the Z Fold5 languishes on the 4,400mAh/25W wired profile of the Z Fold4 (and the Z Fold3 before that, moreover). The N3 is also said to get wireless charging - and may even come with a SuperVOOC power brick in the box. This VCBAUACH accessory may be the same as the one shipped with the OnePlus 11 - if not a newer version.
Either way, it is said to have a 50W USB type-A port as well as a 50-100W type-C port, as with the current SUPERVOOC 100W Power Adapter. On that note, this new leak may or may not hint that it will also be compatible with the supposedly forthcoming OnePlus Open, or global variant of the Find N3 - unless it is coming to the US, of course, in which case it might get a slight charging downgrade.
All in all, should this new leak prove accurate, it could make the Find N3 one of the fastest-charging foldable smartphones of 2023 thus far - with one of the largest batteries of its class. It is slated to arrive in August 2023.
