Xiaomi CEO reveals front of probable Xiaomi 14 as rear designs spied in leakproof cases
Xiaomi has now confirmed its intentions to transition away from MIUI, following rumours of the company adopting MiOS. As we discussed earlier today, the company will pivot to Hyper OS starting with the Xiaomi 14 series, stylised as HyperOS. Since Xiaomi and its various executives have confirmed the switch on Twitter as well as Chinese social media, it appears that HyperOS will replace MIUI globally and not just in China.
Additionally, CEO Lei Jun may have offered a first look at the Xiaomi 14, one of two flagships that Xiaomi is expected to release later this month. While Jun does not acknowledge the device pictured above and below, its compact size implies that it is the Xiaomi 14 rather than the Xiaomi 14 Pro. To that end, Jun states that the Xiaomi 14 is already in production. Although the device is shown in a protective case, it quite clearly has thin display bezels.
For reference, the Xiaomi 13 already has comparatively thin display bezels, which equate to a 90.1% screen-to-body ratio. Nonetheless, the likes of @UniverseIce have hinted that Xiaomi will push the screen-to-body ratio of the Xiaomi 14 series even further. Separately, @That_Kartikey has shared a look at possibly the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro in leakproof cases. Despite hiding almost all elements, the overall design appears to match the one shown in @OnLeaks' recent Xiaomi 14 Pro renders.
