Igor Bogdanov continues to unearth information about upcoming DJI products. While the company has just launched the Mini 4 Pro, Bogdanov has moved onto the Pocket 3, a long-awaited successor to the Pocket 2. As a recap, the first signs that DJI was planning to replace the Pocket 2 emerged last month via Bogdanov and dronenr.au. Incidentally, these appeared alongside an equivalent leak for the Osmo Mobile 7, a smartphone gimbal and follow-up to last year's Osmo Mobile 6.
Based on Bogdanov's latest leaks, the Pocket 3 could represent a significant overhaul from the three-year-old Pocket 2. Specifically, the Pocket 3 appears to have a significantly larger viewfinder than its predecessor. In fact, the display is wider than the Pocket 3 itself, but we suspect it will be rotatable to maximise pocketability.
Incidentally, one image suggests that DJI may return to its Osmo branding for the Pocket 3 as well. Specifications for DJI's next Pocket camera remain unknown for now. The same applies to pricing and availability, although Bogdanov has demonstrated that there will be a more expensive Combo Creator package.
