DJI Mini 4 Pro spotted on FCC as DJI Mini 4 Fly More Combo pricing leaks
More information about Mini 4 drones has appeared online, indicating that DJI is edging ever closer to Mini 3 series replacements. Until now, DJI was only expected to launch the Mini 4 Pro, matching the release schedule of last year's Mini 3 series. To recap, the company offered up the Mini 3 Pro in May and waited a further seven months before launching the cheaper Mini 3.
Now, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US has published initial documentation for the Mini 4 Pro. Typically, the FCC does not share marketing names for devices. Instead, it lists model numbers and sometimes IMEI numbers in the case of smartphones and tablets. The FCC has provided the model number and marketing name of DJI's next drone, linking MT4MFVD to Mini 4 Pro.

Thus, DJI plans to sell the Mini 4 Pro in the US. A UK release also appears to be on the cards, making the appearance of the Mini 4 Pro in other markets like Asia and Europe likely candidates for the sub-250 g drone as well. Incidentally, it seems that DJI may reveal the Mini 4 and Mini 4 Pro simultaneously. Currently, there are no indications from the likes of the FCC that the former is being readied for release yet.
However, Jasper Ellens has discovered alleged DJI Mini 4 Fly More Combo pricing. Embedded below, the pricing of US$799 implies that the Mini 4 Pro could be near US$1,000 when it reaches shelves. Unfortunately, a release date for either drone is unknown for now, although photos of Mini 4 Pro packaging and even a retail unit have already leaked online.
