Hubsan has unveiled the Ace Pro+, another device designed to take on DJI and its stable of popular drones. The Ace Pro+ weighs 560g, putting it in contention with the Mavic 2 or the newer Air 2S. By contrast, the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine tip the scales at nearly 900g.
A highlight of the Ace Pro+ is its camera, a 1-inch CMOS sensor that has 2.4 μm-wide pixels. The camera also has an f/2.8 aperture, although the Ace Pro+ can only shoot videos in up to 4K at 30 FPS. While the drone does not support 5K, it has a comparably high video bitrate of up to 200 Mbps.
The Ace Pro+ offers up to 37 minute flight times too, a few minutes longer than the DJI Air 2S manages. Hubsan's drone has a 10 km range as well, which the company markets as SyncLeas 3.0. The Ace Pro+ can live stream videos back in up to 1080p and within 200 ms when operating at this range, for reference.
Hubsan's latest drone is available to view on its websites, where it is listed for US$879. The Ace Pro+ will also be available in the Eurozone and the UK, but Hubsan has not confirmed when the drone will be orderable.
