Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Bladeless Purification Fan. The bladeless fan can both purify and circulate air around your home. The device can remove up to 99.96% of particles as small as 80 nm from the air. These impurities include pollen, dust, soot and dander, thanks to nano grade filtration.
The device has a 160 m³/h (~1,722 ft³/h) clean air delivery rate (CADR) and can also remove up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses from the air. The fan has a 10 m (~33 ft) range and can blow air at up to 15.5 m/s (~51 ft/s). Plus, the gadget has five different angle settings from 30° to 150°.
Built-in sensors monitor changes in the indoor air quality, temperature and humidity and automatically adjust the fan’s settings accordingly. The gadget is also suitable for sleep, with low noise and screen light reduction features.
The Mijia Smart Bladeless Purification Fan comes with a remote control that magnetically attaches to the top of the device. Alternatively, you can control the gadget via the Mijia app or by using Xiao AI voice commands.
The product measures 228 x 1,153.6 mm (~9.0 x 45.4-in). You can now pre-order the Mijia Smart Bladeless Purification Fan in China for 1,299 yuan (~US$198). After this pre-sale period, the price will increase to 1,599 yuan (~US$244). It is unclear whether or when Xiaomi will release the device in other markets.
