Roborock has launched new robot vacuum cleaners, the Q-series. The new range of gadgets has LiDAR navigation, multi-level mapping and an accompanying app that you can use to customize various settings.
The Roborock Q5+ is already available, featuring an automatic emptying docking station with a 2.5 L capacity. Roborock claims that this allows you up to seven weeks of hands-free cleaning. The device is powered by a 5,200 mAh battery for longer cleaning times, with up to 2,700 Pa of suction. The robot has a 470 ml bin onboard, and it supports Amazon, Google and Apple smart home systems.
Several other cleaning robots will launch in May, such as the Roborock Q5, which is identical to the Q5+ model but does not have the auto-emptying dock. The Q7 and the Q7+ are similar to the Q5, with simultaneous vacuuming and mopping abilities plus a larger built-in dustbin at 750 ml. Again, the difference between the Q7 and the Q7+ is the auto-emptying feature.
The Roborock Q7 Max and the Q7 Max+ are the most powerful vacuums, with up to 4,700 Pa of suction. As previously reported, the Q7 Max+ has a water tank included in its dock, allowing the robot to auto-replenish its water reserves for mopping.
You can now buy the Roborock Q5+ for US$699.99. At the Roborock store and via an Amazon in-page coupon, you can get a launch discount of US$100 until April 28th. The prices for the other vacuums in the Q-series are currently unknown.
