Roborock has introduced the Q7 Max+, having showcased the S7 MaxV at CES 2022 in January. While the latter is available with a dock that can empty the S7 MaxV's dustbin and refill its tank, among other features, the Q7 Max+ only comes with a dock that does the former. For reference, the dock can hold up to 2.5 litres of dust and debris at one time. Still, Roborock claims that you can leave the dustbin for seven weeks without emptying it.
Additionally, the Q7 Max+ has a 470 ml bin and a 350 ml water tank. According to Roborock, the Q7 Max+ offers up to 4,200 Pa of suction, 300 g of wiping pressure and 30 water pressure levels. Like many Roborock vacuums, the Q7 Max+ has a LiDAR-based navigation system too that allows it to map rooms. Incidentally, you can view and edit these 3D maps in the Xiaomi Home app.
Roborock adds that the Q7 Max+ can clean up to 300 square metre rooms, thanks to its 5,200 mAh battery. Allegedly, the robot vacuum should last up to 3 hours between charges, although this battery estimate only applies under specific circumstances. Purportedly, Roborock achieved this battery runtime by setting the Q7 Max+ to quiet mode, having it clean hard floors and disconnecting its mop system.
The Roborock Q7 Max+ should be available in two colours from spring 2022 onwards. Unfortunately, Roborock has not announced how much the Q7 Max+ will cost or in what markets it will be available.
