Xiaomi launches the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 series in Europe from €299
Xiaomi has expanded the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 series in Europe, adding to the multiple robot vacuums it already sells. Available in three variants, the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 series consists of the Mop 2S, the Mop 2 Pro and the Mop 2 Ultra. Like the Roborock S7 MaxV series, the Mop 2 series ranges from just the robot vacuum in the case of the Mop 2S to the Mop 2 Ultra that comes with an auto-empty dock.
According to Xiaomi's press release, the Auto-Empty Station has a 4-litre dust bag, 10x the volume of the Mop 2 Ultra's dust bin. Additionally, the Auto-Empty Station recharges the Mop 2 Ultra and consumes up to 1,000 W when emptying the vacuum's dust bin at 16,500 Pa. In comparison, the Mop 2 Ultra offers 4,000 Pa of suction power, which drops to 3,000 Pa for the Mop 2 Pro and 2,200 Pa with the Mop 2S.
Moreover, the Mop 2S has the smallest battery capacity of the three at 2,600 mAh. By contrast, the Mop 2 Pro and Mop 2 Ultra both have 5,200 mAh batteries. However, all feature LDS laser navigation systems, multi-floor mapping and dedicated water tanks, among other features.
The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 series is available to order from today through Xiaomi and third-party retailers. For some reason, Xiaomi will not start selling the Auto-Empty Station until April 1. The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 series will retail for the following prices, including VAT:
- Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2S - €299
- Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro - €449
- Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Ultra - €549
- Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Ultra Auto-Empty Station - €259
- Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Ultra bundle - €799
