Willow X is an outdoor robot that can complete tasks including mowing the lawn, weeding and harvesting fruit and vegetables. The concept for the EEVE robot was first showcased in 2021, building on the design of its first device, Willow.
The company is now accepting pre-orders for the smart home gadget, which is expected to ship in 2024. The robot has arms to help it execute a range of jobs, and it can carry items in its body. Another potential use for the device is collecting litter, as recently demonstrated in a YouTube video. According to EEVE, Willow X has AI capabilities and a 4K camera to help it detect objects and avoid obstacles.
The Willow X can last up to six hours between charges and the Willow X Pro up to eight hours. Other features of the gadget include autonomous navigation, rain detection and the ability to climb slopes with an incline up to 25% for the standard model and 35% for the Pro.
You can now pre-order the Willow-X and Willow-X Pro for the discounted prices of US$3,990 and US$4,690, respectively. After this pre-sale period, the costs will increase to US$4,200 for the standard model and US$4,900 for the Pro. The devices are available in white, silver and gold.
