The Arlo Go 2 outdoor security camera will soon be available in Europe. The gadget, launched in the US late last year, can work with cellular data alongside Wi-Fi, making it ideal for more remote locations such as construction sites, holiday homes or boatyards.
The outdoor camera records video at 1080p, and it has a spotlight and color night vision to ensure it can capture images clearly in low lighting. Plus, the device has two-way audio, enabling you to talk to anyone near the camera. You can use a built-in siren to deter intruders.
The Arlo Go 2 is wireless with a long-lasting battery that is swappable and rechargeable. You simply need to insert a 3G or 4G SIM card into the camera to use cellular data. The gadget also has a microSD card slot to store video recordings locally. You can quickly locate the camera with GPS location tracking via the Arlo app.
The gadget is IP65 weather-resistant and can operate at temperatures between -4 and 113°F (-20 and 45°C). The Arlo Go 2 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to receive alerts to connected smart devices.
You will be able to buy the Arlo Go 2 outdoor security camera in European countries, including France, Germany and the UK, from June 1st. The device will cost €299.99 (£259.99).
