Anker releases a 10,000 mAh portable magnetic battery with wireless and fast charging abilities
Anker has unveiled the 10,000 mAh 633 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), a portable power bank. The gadget is compatible with the iPhone 12 and 13 models and builds on the 5,000 mAh battery Anker released last year.
Anker bills the product as a two-in-one device; it is a charger and a phone stand, thanks to a prop on the back of the power bank. The gadget houses a 10,000 mAh battery that the company claims can charge an iPhone 13 Pro 1.8 times or an iPhone 12 twice at the standard 7.5 W charging speed.
High-speed charging is also available thanks to a 20 W USB-C port that Anker suggests can charge your phone three times faster. Plus, the gadget has a USB-A port which you can use to charge a secondary device. The charger uses magnets to ‘snap’ onto your phone to ensure it stays connected and continues to charge as you move.
The Anker 633 Magnetic Battery (MagGo) measures 4.21 x 2.62 x 0.71-in (~10.7 x 6.7 x 1.8 cm) and weighs 7.7 oz (~218.3 g). The gadget comes with a 2 ft (0.6 m) USB-C to USB-C charging cable that you can use for fast charging.
You can now buy the Anker 633 Magnetic Battery (MagGo) for US$79.99. The gadget is currently only available in black, though Anker may release different versions as they have done with the 5,000 mAh version of the device.
