The Anker Nano II 100 W charger, also known as the Anker 736 charger, has been released in the US. The 736 is the latest and most powerful device in Anker’s Nano range. The gadget has two USB-C and one USB-A port, allowing you to charge three devices simultaneously.
While the USB-C ports have a 100 W max output, the USB-A port is limited to 22.5 W. With three devices charging, the power is split, with 45 W and 30 W going to each USB-C port and 18 W to the USB-A port.
Thanks to Anker’s PowerUI 3.0 technology, the ultra-fast charger is compatible with various devices, including the MacBook Pro and Air, the Google Pixelbook, ThinkPad and Dell XPS. Plus, the gadget was an honoree in the mobile devices and accessories category of the CES 2022 Innovation Awards.
The device measures 2.64 x 1.24 x 2.24-in (67 x 31.5 x 56.97 mm), making it 34% smaller than Apple’s original 96 W charger. The compact nature of the gadget is down to gallium nitride (GaN) being used in place of silicon. Other features of the gadget include a foldable plug and a durable anodized surface to resist scratching and smudges.
The Anker Nano II 100 W charger, retailing at US$75.99, quickly sold out. According to Amazon, where you can still order the device, the next available delivery date for the gadget is June 23rd.
