Anker releases the 551 8-in-1 USB-C Hub and tablet stand with pass-through charging
Anker has released a new tablet stand with an 8-in-1 USB-C Hub. The gadget is compatible with the 3rd to 5th gen iPad Pro, iPad Air 4 and other USB-C tablets. The base allows you to adjust the height and orientation of your tablet for ease of use.
You can also control the angles of the gadget, moving the base up to 70° and the stand up to 180°. The hub has 45 to 100 W of charging power, with the USB-C power delivery input port enabling high-speed pass-through charging to your connected device.
You can transfer files at up to 5 Gbps via the two USB-A ports. Alternatively, you could transfer data to SD or microSD 3.0 cards at 104 Mbps. You can connect to another display using the HDMI port at 4K@60 Hz.
The gadget supports iPadOS, macOS, Win10 and Win 11 operating systems. Plus, the dock has a 3.5 mm AUX port. The Anker 551 USB-C Hub comes with a 1.47 ft (m) USB-C to USB-C cable and 18 months of warranty.
The stand is made with aluminum alloy, which Anker says provides sturdiness and durability. The surface of the tablet holder is coated with no-slip silicone to reduce the risk of it falling. When not in use, you can fold the stand to save on desk space. You can now buy the Anker 551 USB-C Hub for US$99.99.
