Vivo has plenty of new mobile devices due next week, with the X Fold, X Note and the Pad all set to be released on April 11. While Vivo has shared numerous marketing materials so far, these are not always reflective of how a device will look in person. For example, manufacturers tend to underestimate display bezel thickness, among other things.
Based on leaked hands-on images, that appears to be the case with the Vivo Pad. Seemingly, the Vivo Pad will arrive with the Snapdragon 870, plus a 120 Hz display. Unfortunately, Vivo has surrounded the 11-inch panel with much thicker bezels than marketing images suggested. By contrast, Vivo has not distorted the keyboard dock's key or trackpad size.
Separately, the leak provides a look at the X Fold's interior display when folded open. Even though the front-facing camera placement looks rather odd, we cannot make out a display crease, which is always possible with the Galaxy Z Fold3. However, we would not rule out a visible crease at some angles, especially considering how low resolution this image is. Incidentally, the back of the X Note has been pictured, underlining the scale of its camera housing.
The Vivo X Fold should launch with the same camera housing too, but not with the X Note's leather-style finish. It remains to be seen whether any of these devices will receive a global release, nor how much they will cost in China.
