According to the leaker Digital Chat Station, the Vivo Pad3 is on the way as one of the "Blue Factory's" next premium mobile device releases. The tablet is believed to succeed one that helped to introduce a distinctive new 7:5 aspect-ratio form-factor in 2023; however, unfortunately for Pad2 (as well as OnePlus Pad/OPPO Pad 2) enthusiasts, it may not have caught on.
In other words, the Pad3 is now slated to revert to the 16:10 display type, although it may be larger than that of the Pad2 at 12.45 inches in diagonal length. On a potentially more encouraging note, it is also backed to retain its series' class-leading 144Hz refresh rate in 2024 - it may still be LCD, however.
The Vivo Pad2 was also an interesting prospect in that it ran on a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor rather than a Qualcomm chipset like practically every single one of its rivals; however, its maker is now rumored to have dropped that distinction as well, choosing to challenge the Xiaomi "Pad 7 Pro" with the ex-smartphone flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform instead.
Then again, the Vivo Pad3 might still stand out with a considerable upgrade to 120W charging, compared to 44W in its alleged predecessor. Should these new predictions prove accurate, the tablet might make its debut on or around the same time in March 2024 as the launch of the X Fold3, with the X100 Pro+ provisionally scheduled to follow in the second quarter of the same year.
