Official Vivo Pad images arrive confirming the tablet's design and accessories
Not only has Vivo teased its first foldable smartphone, but it has also showcased an upcoming tablet. Posting on Weibo, the company shared several marketing images showing the Vivo Pad in various uses case. While the tablet's design was already known, these are the first official images that Vivo has published.
As expected, the Vivo Pad resembles the Xiaomi Pad 5 and the iPad Pro 11. Accordingly, the Vivo Pad has slim display bezels, rounded corners and few physical buttons. Additionally, the tablet is much thinner than Vivo's smartphones and supports pen input. Moreover, the marketing images confirm that the Vivo Pad has two rear-facing cameras, Dolby Atmos speakers and three connectors for attaching its keyboard accessory.
Vivo has provided images of the keyboard accessory in use too. Unsurprisingly, Vivo has teased the tablet as a laptop replacement, in part thanks to the accessory's built-in kickstand. Incidentally, the keyboard accessory appears to have relatively large keys, which span five rows. Also, Vivo has included a spacious trackpad, although it is unclear whether there are backlit keys.
The Vivo Pad is rumoured to launch with the Snapdragon 870, a 120 Hz display and an 8,040 mAh battery. Reputedly, the tablet will rely on Ocean OS, a customised version of Android. Vivo has not confirmed if it will sell the tablet outside China yet, though.
