Vivo has brought the Y76 5G to Europe, a smartphone that it launched last November in Malaysia. To recap, the Y76 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS display that resolves at 2,408 x 1,080 pixels. The large display sits within a 163.84 x 75 x 7.79 mm plastic chassis that weighs 175 g on account of its 4,100 mAh battery. Incidentally, the Y76 5G can recharge its large battery at up to 44 W; the device does not support wireless charging, though.
Additionally, the Y76 5G has a 16 MP front-facing camera (f/2.0), a 50 MP primary camera (f/1.8) and dual 2 MP rear-facing cameras, both f/2.4. Moreover, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM connectivity, microSD card expansion, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. At the heart of the Y76 5G is the Dimensity 700, a 7 nm SoC that Vivo complements with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
The Vivo Y76 5G arrives in Europe with Funtouch OS 12, which the company bases on the outdated Android 11. The Y76 5G launches in Cosmic Aurora and Midnight Space colourways and will retail for €329. Vivo does not offer any other memory configurations, for reference.
