Lenovo’s Tab P12 Pro is an exciting Android tablet. In our review of this 12.6-inch tablet we found almost no flaws besides maybe a slightly lacking update guarantee. This Chinese 2021 flagship is on a par with the GALAXYTABS7 and even manages to outperform its main competitor.
The Tab P12 Pro has a clear focus on productivity, and in addition to the four contact pins at the bottom used for magnetically attaching a 2-in-1 keyboard dock it also comes with DisplayPort 1.4 support via its USB-C port for not only attaching a secondary display to the tablet itself but also for using it as a secondary display for a Windows computer via the Project Unity software suite. Keep in mind that in this mode it is limited to just 30 Hz but continues to support both touch and stylus input.
With the optional 2-in-1 keyboard dock the Tab P12 Pro turns into a portable 2-in-1 device with a stylus, the Precision Pen 3 that supports the usual 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and can be used for taking handwritten notes. It feels great in hand thanks to its ergonomic design. During fast movements with the stylus the display lagged noticeably, and it wobbled slightly when attempting to draw a straight line slowly. All in all the Precision Pen 3 performed very well.
If you are looking for a premium Android tablet with a focus on productivity the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro can be a great choice. Find out more in our extensive review.
