Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 is a new 2.5K OLED display Android tablet that comes with choices of color and processor
Lenovo has now made the 2022 edition of its Xiaoxin Pad Pro official. The tablet's specs have been exposed for the most part already; then again, the OEM has only just revealed that its high-end display has a max brightness of 600 nits, covers the DCI-P3 color gamut and is compatible with first-party styli.
Lenovo also, of course, has a new keyboard cover made for the Pad Pro 2022. It and its functions are rated to gel well with the slate's build of ZUI 14 based on Android 12 and adds a kickstand to the whole laptop-like set-up.
Therefore, the Pad Pro 2022 seems to be the latest remix of its series' high-end, competitive specs. Then again, Lenovo has diversified somewhat with this one in that it has SKUs with different processors this time.
Both of its MediaTek Kompanio 1300T and more predictable Snapdragon 870 versions support a 120Hz refresh rate; however, the Qualcomm variants are the only ones with the tablet's rumored ability to charge its 8,200mAh battery at 68W.
The 1300T SKUs have been saddled with a 30W standard instead. They do, however, get the Pad Pro 2022's new two-tone look, although its well-teased colors such as purple and green, finished with higher-end-looking vegan leather, have been reserved for the 870-powered units.
They are also the only ones with 8GB of RAM, although neither SKU comes with internal storage of more than 128GB or connectivity other than Wi-Fi (even despite the use of the 870).
The 1300T-based version, on the other hand, has 6GB of RAM, presumably for improved affordability. It can be ordered for 2,199 yuan (~US$322), whereas its higher-end Qualcomm-edition counterpart goes for 2,499 yuan (~US$367).
