The Moto Tab G70 launched in early 2022 with an 11-inch 2K display, a 7,700mAh battery, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and LPDDR4X RAM. Now, it is projected to get a new sibling that might fail to launch with quite all of these specs. Then again, it is now linked to a 4G/LTE option, at least.
Accordingly, this putative new Motorola tablet might not have a whole lot to do with the smartphone of the virtually identical name. On that note, it will probably replace the Tab G70's Helio G90T processor with another, currently unknown, platform.
Either way, the Moto Tab G62 (or XT-2261-1) and Tab G62 LTE (XT-2261-2) have allegedly been added to the Google Play Console by Lenovo. Therefore, should the SKUs really exist, it will be interesting to see if they launch with Android 12L rather than the "pure Android 11" OS of the Tab G70.
