Anker has revealed that its latest range of power bricks, strips and other charging accessories all come with its latest GaNPrime technology. These latest developments in the OEM's use of the up-to-date gallium nitride (GaN) power-storage material include in-house PowerIQ 4.0 and ActiveShield 2.0, rated to cut multi-port charging times down to 1 hour at most and to monitor charging device temperature 78% more often respectively.

Anker has just announced its new series of "high-speed" charging accessories along with a new name for the upgraded semiconductor technology on which they are based. The GaNPrime series is touted as more eco-friendly than conventional counterparts, as the silicon on which they are based can use up to 7% more energy compared to the new gallium nitride solutions the OEM has been working on.

The company also asserts that, with at least 3 ports per GaNPrime variant, its new accessories are more sustainable and economical than their traditional rivals. Anker's "innovative" expertise in GaN charger design has led to the launch of some models up to "53% smaller compared to silicon laptop chargers".

In terms of charging speed, Anker promised >100W options, and has delivered in the form of its new GaNPrime 100W/727 Charging Station; the GaNPrime 120W/737 Charger and the GaNPrime 150W/747 Charger.

On that note, the OEM asserts that should every consumer in the US switch to the latter for 1 year, up to 796 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy, or "enough to power the entire state of Hawaii for 1 month" could be conserved.

Most of the latest Anker products are increasingly familiar multi-port power bricks - however, the GaNPrime 100W has a more cutting-edge design. With its slim body and flat edges, it could be mistaken for a 10,000mAh MagSafe-compatible power bank - however, its long input cord marks it out as a new kind of 6-port USB type-A/-C desktop charger.

In addition, the GaNPrime PowerCore 65W is the series' only actual power bank, yet it also has wall-socket prongs for "2-in-1 hybrid" use-cases. Finally the new GaNPrime 65W/Anker 615 USB Power Strip has 2 AC outlets in addition to its selection of USB ports.

The OEM has outlined its complete new series in terms of their specs, pricing and availability as follows. They are all available on anker.com, or will be released through Amazon (with the 737, 747 and 733 to ship later in the third quarter of 2022) as below:
