New Leviton Decora Smart light switches, dimmers and outlets are launched
Five new products have been added to the Leviton Decora Smart range. The lineup includes the No-Neutral Switch and Dimmer designed for older properties that lack a neutral wire in the switch wall box.
These two devices work with the Decora Smart Wi-Fi Bridge, which Leviton describes as compact and discreet. The new gadget can support up to 25 devices simultaneously over 2,500 ft² (~232 m²).
The Decora Smart Wi-Fi 2nd Gen Motion Sensing Dimmer can adapt your lighting based on its detection. For example, the sensor can prevent a light from turning on if it detects sufficient natural light in the room or automatically turns lights on as it gets darker. Plus, the device can illuminate an area when it detects motion and is compatible with Amazon, Google and Apple smart home systems and voice assistants.
Also included in the release is the Decora Smart Wi-Fi 2nd Gen Tamper-Resistant Outlet, which is similarly compatible with Apple HomeKit and Siri and the Amazon and Google equivalents. This outlet can turn any compatible ‘normal’ device into a smart device.
You can remotely control the Leviton light switches, dimmers and outlets using the My Leviton app or voice commands. You can also schedule lights to come on or off and create different lighting scenes through the app.
