Roborock S7 Pro Ultra: New robot vacuum launches in Europe with a 3-in-1 dock at a €250 discount
Roborock has finally announced the pricing of the S7 Pro Ultra, another robot vacuum in the S7 series. As we discussed last month, Roborock initially added the S7 Pro Ultra in the Xiaomi Home app, before listing it on Amazon without a price. For reference, Roborock's 'Ultra' branding means that it comes with a 3-in-1 dock, just like the S7 MaxV Ultra that debuted in January at CES 2022.
Typically, the S7 Pro Ultra should cost €1,199, only €200 shy of the S7 MaxV Ultra. However, Roborock has decided to offer a €250 discount at launch, reducing the robot vacuum to a more palatable €949, including shipping and VAT. For some reason, Amazon still lists the robot vacuum as being unavailable. However, other third-party retailers have started selling the S7 Pro Ultra, such as AliExpress or regional retailers like Kaufland in Germany.
Incidentally, Roborock provides a list of retailers from which the S7 Pro Ultra should be available on its website. As with many recent Roborock products, the S7 Pro Ultra can scrub floors, as well as vacuum them at up to 5,100 Pa of suction power. Additionally, the robot vacuum relies on LiDAR to navigate obstacles and map out the room in which it is cleaning. Based on various third-party retailer listings, the S7 Pro Ultra should begin shipping from next week in Europe.
