A new robot vacuum has appeared in the Xiaomi Home app and on Amazon, the Roborock S7 Pro Ultra. The product is listed as having 5,100 Pa suction power, twice that of the S7 or S6 MaxV. Plus, the device has a mopping ability, applying 600 g (~21.2 oz) of pressure at 3,000 rotations per minute.
The vacuum cleaner comes with a self-cleaning docking station, which can empty the robot's dustbin, refill its water tank and clean the mop attachment. The dock has a 2.5 L dustbin, 3 L water tank, and 2.5 L dirty water tank, which Roborock claims provides you up to 7 weeks of hands-free cleaning, with an estimated cleaning area of 300 m² (~3,229 ft²). The company suggests the dock is self-cleaning, meaning you only need to change the filters.
The robot is equipped with LiDAR navigation to plan a cleaning route and avoid obstacles intelligently. The gadget can prepare a 3D map of your house, which you can use to instruct the vacuum cleaner's course. You can control the device through the Roborock App, the Xiaomi Home app or Amazon Alexa voice commands.
The Roborock S7 Pro Ultra is listed on Amazon in European countries, including the Netherlands, France and Italy, though it is not currently available. Rumors suggest that the gadget will retail for €999 (~US$1,055), but a release date has not yet been confirmed.
