Philips Hue reveals new products including Go portable table lamp with up to 48-hour battery life
Signify has announced new products in its Philips Hue smart home lighting range. Perifo, the first fully customizable track lighting from the brand, is included in the lineup. You can use the system to combine multiple rails in a design of your choice and choose from a range of lights to fit the tracks. The Perifo starts from €49.99 (~US$52.80) and will launch in Europe.
The Philips Hue Go table lamp is the company’s first portable rechargeable light. You can use the gadget indoors or outdoors, and the battery provides up to 48 hours of life between charges. The table lamp will cost €149.99 (or US$159.99).
Also in the range is the Tap dial switch, a new smart accessory costing €49.99 (or US$49.99). The device has a dial which you can intuitively dim your lights. Also on the gadget are four buttons which you can use to set scenes and control entire rooms. You can use the switch as a remote control, mount it on a wall or magnetically attach it to a metal surface.
A new Wake Up feature in the Philips Hue app slowly turns on your lights to mimic sunrise and gently rouse you from sleep. This tool will be compatible with all gradient lights from the brand, such as the new Signe gradient lamp, starting from €239.99 (~US$253.46). The new range of products and features will launch across Europe and North America this summer, with the first products available this month.
