Xiaomi S10T robot vacuum unveiled with 8000 Pa suction power and anti-tangle technology

Xiaomi has unveiled the Robot Vacuum S10T, with up to 8000 Pa suction power. You can choose from various cleaning modes, with lower suction power and quieter cleans. The gadget has patented anti-tangle technology to help remove hair from your floor without clogging the device. The technology uses a comb-like structure to straighten trapped hairs, which are then cut by blunt tooth blades.

The S10T can also mop with three water volume settings to allow you to customize your clean. The device has a 5,200 mAh battery capacity, allowing it to cover an area up to 180 m² (1,938 ft²) on a single charge. The gadget has a 450 ml dustbin and 250 ml water tank onboard, which are also suited to a larger area. Plus, the robot can overcome obstacles up to 2 cm (~0.79-in) tall.

The device uses LDS laser navigation to quickly and accurately map your house. You can then use the map to control which areas the gadget cleans. The device is equipped with a quad-core chip and a SLAM algorithm to help the robot to plan the most efficient cleaning route.

You can remotely control the device using the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home app. You can use the app to schedule future cleaning, set no-go zones and push OTA updates to the gadget. It is currently unclear where and when the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10T will launch and how much it will cost.
