The Bosch Light/shutter control II has launched in Europe. You can use the multi-purpose device as a smart light control or smart shutter control, enabling you to command these gadgets in many more ways.
The device allows you to control your lights or blinds with the Bosch Smart Home app, which you can also use to set timers, schedules and further automation. Plus, you can control the connected gadgets with Apple Siri, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. The Light/shutter control II can also extend the Zigbee radio signal range for other Bosch Smart Home devices.
For example, you could use the smart controller to add timed or motion-activated lighting to your home to reduce energy consumption. You could also use the smart lights for presence simulation lighting to deter intruders. As a smart shade controller, you can set the blinds to open to a specific point or automatically raise or close in sync with the sun.
You can install the controller invisibly with flush-mounted or surface-mounted boxes and use the device indoors and outdoors with a weatherproof container. The gadget measures 40.5 × 47 × 22 mm (~1.59 x 1.85 x 0.87-in). You can buy the Bosch Light/shutter control II for £66.51 or €74,95 (~US$76).
