Earlier this week, Xiaomi presented the Redmi Smart TV A58, discussed separately. Available in China for CNY 1,999 (~US$305), the Redmi Smart TV A58 has a 60 Hz refresh rate, dual 10 W speakers and runs MIUI TV based on Android TV. Subsequently, the company has released a 75-inch version, appropriately called the Redmi Smart TV A75.
As the images below show, the Redmi Smart TV A75 outputs at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) and is alleged to have a 97.8-inch screen-to-body ratio. Also, Xiaomi states that the 75-inch panel offers an 8.5 ms response time, 78% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and 300 nits of peak brightness. Hence, the Redmi Smart TV A75 does not get bright enough to support HDR content. Moreover, it seems that the TV peaks at 60 Hz, rather than 90 Hz or 120 Hz like other Xiaomi TVs do.
Furthermore, Xiaomi equips the Redmi Smart TV A75 with 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and an SoC containing four ARM Cortex-A35 cores. Like its 58-inch sibling, the Redmi Smart TV A75 runs MIUI TV based on Android TV. Alternatively, you could connect a games console or a streaming box via one of the TV's two HDMI ports.
Incidentally, Xiaomi has included two USB Type-A connections, composite video and Ethernet too. Currently, Xiaomi only sells the Redmi Smart TV A75 in China, where it retails for CNY 3,399 (~US$515). It is unclear whether Xiaomi will release the Redmi Smart TV A75 elsewhere, although it has brought some TVs to other markets, including Europe.
