Redmi Smart TV MAX teasers reveal the design and release of Xiaomi's upcoming giant TV

Xiaomi has started teasing its next TV, a new Redmi MAX model. According to a leak, the upcoming TV will measure a huge 100-inches across, building on the 98-inch model that Xiaomi launched in 2020.

A few days ago, it emerged that Xiaomi had registered a 'Redmi MAX TV 100-inch Giant Screen TV' with the Bluetooth SIG. Incidentally, the same model number, L100RS-MAX, also surfaced on the 3C in China. Typically, these certifications signal that a device is close to being released, but it seems that the TV could launch as soon as tomorrow.

According to numerous teasers on Weibo, Xiaomi will present the Redmi Smart TV MAX 100-inch at tomorrow's Redmi K50 launch event. Also, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the RedmiBook Pro 2022, a new gaming laptop, during the same event. Predictably, Xiaomi has teased the TV's design, which hints at thin display bezels and rounded chassis corners. It remains to be seen how truthful these marketing renders are, though.

For some reason, Xiaomi has decided against teasing many details about the Redmi Smart TV MAX 100-inch. However, it has hinted that the TV will come with a high refresh rate panel that is 'flagship standard', in part because of its high colour accuracy. Additionally, Xiaomi teases that professional bodies have certified the Redmi Smart TV MAX 100-inch; details about this remain unknown too at this stage, unfortunately.
