LG has announced the availability and prices of most of its 2022 OLED TV line-up for the US. The range, unveiled at CES, includes the LG OLED evo G2 Gallery Edition and the LG OLED evo C2 series.
The 2022 line-up has the broadest range of screen sizes LG has offered to date, including the world’s first 97-inch OLED TV as part of the G2 series. All TVs in the series are 4K apart from the Z2 series, which is 8K.
The TVs feature LG’s self-lit OLED technology to deliver rich blacks, realistic colors and an infinite contrast ratio. LG’s evo technology has been added to the G2 and C2 series, combining an OLED panel with an α9 Gen 5 intelligent processor and a Brightness Booster tool.
The α9 Gen 5 intelligent processor, also used in the Z2 series, uses a deep-learning algorithm to bring a more 3D quality to the picture. The processor also has the Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro Algorithm to individually process more than 5,000 areas of the screen for a more detailed image. Plus, these TVs have virtual 7.12-channel sound.
The lower end A2 and B2 series have virtual 5.12 surround sound and more limited audiovisual processing capabilities. The whole range of TVs are optimized for gaming with 0.1 millisecond response time (GtG), low input lag and up to four HDMI ports with HDMI 2.1 support.
The 2022 OLED TVs listed below as available in March can be bought now directly from LG. You will be able to purchase them from alternative retailers from April.
