Xiaomi launches the Mijia Refrigerator 630L with 360° cooling

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Refrigerator 630L, with 360° cooling to reduce frost. The device also has a UV sterilization module and a 92% deodorization rate.

The fridge has ample storage space of 223 L of freezer space and 407 L of refrigeration space. The device has 20 compartments, including six drawers, three each in the fridge and freezer sections, plus storage space built into the doors.

You can adjust the humidity of the drawers to lock in moisture to keep fruit and vegetables fresher for longer. For example, Xiaomi suggests that a low moisture climate suits root vegetables, whereas lettuce and fruit prefer higher humidity.

The Mijia Refrigerator 630L is quiet thanks to vortex shell noise reduction, generating just 36 dB of sound. The fridge is also energy efficient through its Embraco inverter compressor that can use as little as 0.95 kWh of electricity per day.

A display inside the gadget tells you what temperatures your device is adjusted to and allows you to customize the settings. You can also control the fridge mode, and temperatures via the Mijia App or Xiao AI voice commands.

The Mijia Refrigerator 630L, which comes with a ten-year warranty, is currently available to pre-order in China for 3,499 yuan (~US$550). After this initial period, the price will increase to 3,699 yuan (~US$581).
