Xiaomi launches the Mijia Smart Dehumidifier 22L with sleep and clothes drying modes

Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Smart Dehumidifier 22L. With various intelligent features, the device can remove up to 22 L of water each day. The dehumidifier is quiet, producing noise as low as 35.5 dB, thanks to the vertical air duct’s design and a high energy efficiency DC inverter motor.

The device comes with a 4.5 L water tank to provide up to 8 hours of dehumidification. The gadget will automatically switch off when the water tank reaches full capacity. Alternatively, you can connect the dehumidifier to an external drain for longer-term use.

Xiaomi suggests that you could use the device to make your sleep more comfortable, dry clothes indoors, protect your health or save items in storage from dampness or mildew. The gadget, which measures ~26.0 x 11.8-in (660 x 300 mm), is portable thanks to wheels on its base.

The Mijia Smart Dehumidifier has built-in sensors to detect the humidity in a room, and it can automatically adjust its settings based on these measurements. You can set a target humidity on the device or use preset modes such as clothes drying and sleep.

You can also control the device through the Mijia app or Xiao AI voice commands. The dehumidifier can be linked to other smart devices so that you can include it in triggered sequences in your home.

The Mijia Smart Dehumidifier 22L is currently available to pre-order by customers in China for 1,299 yuan (~US$204). After this initial period, the price will increase to 1,499 yuan (~US$235).
