Xiaomi launches the Mijia fresh air air conditioner vertical 3 hp
Xiaomi has announced the Mijia fresh air air conditioner vertical 3 hp. The air conditioner can displace air at up to 215 m³/h (~7,600 ft³/h), though there are additional installation requirements to reach this. The device is suitable for rooms up to 40 m² (~323 ft²) in size, and Xiaomi claims the gadget will provide fresh air to the whole house in 24 minutes.
The air conditioner has four layers of filtration and purification, including a HEPA filter. Xiaomi claims that the device can remove many different impurities from the air; for example, the company states that the unit has a 94.22% CO2 removal rate. It can also remove up to 97.2% of pollen from the air.
The air conditioner has a compressor built by Panasonic, centrifugal turbo technology and air duct optimization to generate a large volume of air refreshment. The gadget has anti-condensation technology and can heat the air to 58°C.
The product has many customizable settings and preset modes for you to choose from either on the device or through the Mijia app, where you can also monitor the air quality in your home. Alternatively, you can control the air conditioner with Xiao AI voice commands.
RGB and LED lights on the gadget indicate various modes or settings and intelligently adapt to your indoor lighting, dimming or turning off completely to match your other lights.
The Mijia fresh air air conditioner vertical 3 hp is now available to pre-order in China for 6,949 yuan (~US$1,096). The first products are expected to ship on April 10th. After this initial period, the device will retail for 7,299 yuan (US$1,151).
