Xiaomi could be about to launch a 10-in smart display

Xiaomi may shortly launch a new 10-in smart display. MySmartPrice spotted the gadget on the Bluetooth SIG certification database.

The device is listed with model number X10A and described as "Xiaomi Smart Display 10". The listing states that the product will have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and it will use hardware version R0105 and software version V2.1.4.

The listing does not give any further details. However, from the name, you could assume that the gadget will have a 10-in (~25 cm) screen with a possible 1280 x 800-pixel display resolution.

MySmartPrice speculates that the device could have a power button and volume rockers alongside a voice assistant such as Xiao AI. The publication also suggests that the display would be a touchscreen with gesture support.

Xiaomi has already released several smart displays ranging from 4 to 8-in (~10 to 20cm) in size, such as the Mi Smart Clock. However, these have mostly been limited to the Chinese market, so it is unclear if this new gadget will be released globally, if at all.

If this possible smart display were available to a wider market, then Xiaomi might aim for it to compete with devices such as the Amazon Echo Show 10.
