TECHPLUS launches the TP600SG smart trampoline with gamified workout features
TECHPLUS has announced a smart trampoline, the TP600SG, that can help you track your workouts. The device is currently crowdfunding on the Xiaomi Youpin site.
The fitness device comes with a wearable belt that monitors your motion. You can use the accompanying app to view data about your jumps, session duration and streaks, how many reps you have achieved, and estimated calories burned.
You can access workout sessions led by Chinese tumbling trampolinist Zhang Luo through the app. Workouts cover HIIT weight-loss focused sessions and muscle defining exercises using the trampoline.
You can also connect with friends via the app, with gamification features encouraging you to work out together to earn points. The product listing suggests that gifts are to be won, though no details are given.
The trampoline comes with an armrest with three adjustable heights. At its maximum, the armrest measures 980 (~39-in) mm from the base, measuring 1,068 mm (~42-in) in diameter. According to TECHPLUS, the trampoline can take up to 120 kg (~255 lbs) of weight and has been tested over 800,000 times.
You can now pre-order the TECHPLUS TP600SG smart trampoline in China for 509 yuan (~US$80). After this pre-sale period, the price will increase to 579 yuan (~US$91).
