We have heard a lot about the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro in the last few days, but now it is turn of the Redmi Note 10 series. While Xiaomi has already teased the Redmi Note 10 series and confirmed that it would be launching on March 4, plenty of questions remain about its upcoming mid-range smartphones.
So far, we have heard about Xiaomi releasing the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro, although it is unclear if these devices will launch globally. Nonetheless, Ishan Agarwal reports that the company plans to release a third model, dubbed the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. According to Agarwal, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max will be available in black, bronze and blue. Additionally, the teenager states that Xiaomi will sell the device with 128 GB of storage and 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.
Incidentally, supposed packaging of the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro have been published online. In our opinion, the one of the Redmi Note 10 Pro could well be a fake. As far as we can tell, the photo looks like someone is holding a piece of card, rather than a box. While we could be incorrect, the one of the Redmi Note 10 looks more realistic.
If the latter is legitimate, then it will mean that the Redmi Note 10 has an AMOLED display, which would be a coup for the entry-level model in the series. Presumably, the Redmi Note 10 Pro will have an AMOLED display if the Redmi Note 10 has one. Moreover, the packaging states that the display will operate natively at 1080p (FHD+) and that the device will have a 48 MP quad camera. The Redmi Note 10 is expected to arrive with 64 GB of storage and up to 6 GB of RAM, too.
