Xiaomi confirms that the Redmi Note 10 series will debut on March 4, a week earlier than expected
Xiaomi may have just recently launched the Mi 11 globally, but the company is already gearing for its next smartphone release. Next up for Xiaomi is the Redmi Note 10 series, which has been spoken of a lot in the last few months. Multiple Redmi Note 10 series devices have leaked so far, from the Redmi Note 10 (4G) to the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, to name but a few.
The company mentioned a week ago that the Redmi Note 10 series would arrive in March, but it did not go into specifics at the time. On Sunday, a photo purportedly from Amazon India surfaced, showing that four Redmi Note 10 device were primed for a March 10 release, but it seems that will not be the case. Instead, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 10 series will make its global debut on March 4, almost a week earlier than Sunday's leak suggested.
The term 'global debut' is a misnomer though, in our opinion. While it may be true that March 4 will be the first time that Xiaomi showcases the Redmi Note 10 series, there is no indication that the company plans to launch the smartphones globally on that day. There is no mention of the Redmi Note 10 series launch on Xiaomi's global Twitter account, for example, which suggests that the smartphones will only arrive in India on March 4.
Accordingly, Xiaomi will likely schedule another live stream for a truly global launch of the Redmi Note 10 series. Today's teaser from Redmi India hints that Xiaomi will focus heavily on cameras during the Redmi Note 10 series launch, too. Apparently, at least one Redmi Note 10 smartphone will have a 108 MP camera, which would be a first for the Redmi Note series.
