The Mi Watch already offered compelling hardware for its affordable price, but Xiaomi continues to bring new features to the smartwatch. For example, the device's latest update adds support for Amazon Alexa, camera shutter control and two new standby watch faces.
Moreover, Xiaomi claims that it has optimised the Mi Watch to wake up faster and has added the option to adjust auto-pause functionality during a workout on the smartwatch itself. Unfortunately, Amazon Alexa is unavailable in some regions, as the image below shows.
V1.2.52 also addresses several bugs and is rolling out as an over-the-air (OTA) download now. The update can be triggered on the Xiaomi Wear app, for reference. Please note, you cannot use your smartwatch while it is updating.
