Three renders of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 have appeared online showcasing the upcoming smartphone with a surprisingly refreshing aesthetic. While much is expected from the Mi Mix 4, especially when it comes to innovation, there will also be many fans who want Xiaomi to come up with a design for the smartphone that truly stands out from the crowd. These concept renders are probably fan-made but may end up being close to the final product.
The first obvious takeaway to be had here is that the concept Mi Mix 4 has a completely unblemished display. It has long been rumored that the successor to the Mi Mix line would come with Xiaomi’s third-generation under-display camera technology, and the renders show what that could look like with the final product. On top of the innovative camera equipment, it’s likely the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 would come with at least a Snapdragon 888 processor and a 108 MP or greater main camera lens.
As for the screen and overall design, the Mi Mix 4 depicted here has a very fresh look that is more akin to something Sony might produce with the Xperia line rather than Xiaomi with its Mi Mix range. There’s no quad-curved waterfall screen to be seen here, and the bezels are incredibly narrow to allow for as much screen real estate as possible. The flat screen leaves a clean and simple exterior allowing for Xiaomi’s engineers to focus on innovating with the Mi Mix 4’s interior.
